This Oral Communication course is designed to develop students' confidence and competence in both formal and informal speaking scenarios. Students will explore key elements of effective speech, including verbal and non-verbal communication, structuring speeches, vocal techniques, audience engagement, and feedback. Over the span of 10 weeks, learners will participate in interactive discussions, exercises, and performances that highlight real-world application. They will analyze model speeches, practice active listening, overcome speech anxiety, and incorporate visual aids into presentations. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate their learning through the delivery of structured, engaging speeches tailored to various audiences.

Language and communication is  course that introduces students to the fundamental principles of language and communication. It explores how language functions as a tool for human interaction, expression, and meaning-making. Students will examine the structure, forms, and contexts of communication and understand how language influences social and cultural dynamics. The course also highlights barriers to communication and strategies for improving clarity and effectiveness in verbal, non-verbal, and written forms of communication. It aims to equip learners with the skills necessary to communicate effectively in both academic and real-world settings.
